ASSORTED SAMBURU DANCES.
Once you are in the venue, The experience will start with assorted dances that were practiced by ancient Samburu and whose customs are done to date.
The dance genres include
  • War dancers
  • Lion Killing dances
  • Wedding dances
  • Jumping competition
  • Victory dances
  • Dance classes - the visitors will be welcomed to the arena.

TRADITIONAL FIRE LIGHTING EXPERIENCE
In this experience, we demonstrated to the visitors the practice of lighting fire without a matchbox as it was practiced in traditional times.

SAMBURU TRADITIONAL HAIR BRAIDING EXPERIENCE
Samburu traditional hair braiding is a unique experience that was practiced to date by the Samburu men after initiation to manhood (Moran). The Original name of the hair is known as (Lmasi). Your hair will be twisted using special ashes from the special wood (Mkaria) into thin twisted braids.
Maria is believed to make the hair grow fast and strong.

BEADS MAKING
You will be taken through a process that has been practiced since old age of beads made by women. This has been an economic generating activity among Samburu women, The ornament that you will make in this experience will be your free souvenir. We will also take you to our mini shop located by the beach between Baobab Beach Resort and Langoon Leaf where you will see some more unique souvenirs with various meanings to carry home. Also, these souvenirs will be displayed during your experience.

MINUMUM PARTICIPANTS: This experience requires a minimum of two people.

Meeting point: Ukunda show ground.
We can also arrange to host the show at your hotel if the management allows.
