All of your guides come from the Mathare slum and dropped out of primary school. As aconsequence, they raised themselves at an early age in the bustling streets of downtownNairobi. They will make you experience their so-called former “home” and share with youtheir captivating life stories connected to the places you visit. Starting at Hilton Hotel, yourguides will take you to Downtown, where they tell you how they ended up on the streets,show you how they survived through begging and hustling, teach you their street skills, giveyou real local insights, and inspire you with their ghetto-energy. Even more important,they will share with you how they transformed into reasonable young men, how they look backon their former lifestyle, and how they are nowadays trying to improve the situation of theirfamilies and friends. Nobody will be able to give you these insights the way they do. The touris one-on-one (max. 2 guests per guide) to facilitate an inspiring exchange between you andyour guides and to give you the opportunity to ask all your questions.
