Etosha is defined by its massive salt pan, visible even from space. During the dry winter months, the park’s waterholes become theatrical stages where lions, elephants, rhinos, and giraffes congregate in huge numbers. The shimmering white dust of the pan gives the animals a ghostly appearance, making for some of the most unique wildlife photography in Africa.
