DESCRIPTION

The sunset cruises start in the late afternoon and cruise along the coast, slicing through the clear turquoise water.

After you step on-board the vessel, the skilled crew will take the dhow about 1km away from the shore by means of an engine, relax and let us sail you away on a magical sunset cruise to end your day. Feel the waves crushing as the rhythm and bustle of busy people in Stone Town grow faint in the distance and revealing the lovely views of Stone Town, Kendwa, & Nungwi beach

Once out in the sea the engine is shut off and during a tense moment the skillful crew put up the sail, once the sail is in favor of the wind, the guest can sit back, relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the ocean as you hear the ripple of water on the sides of the dhow as it glides swiftly.

Our musicians crew will take over the sound playing taarab, songs of love and loss, on violin and oud, as the crew serve canapés and keep your glass topped up with your choice of a selection of beers, sodas and drinking water from the Zanzibar Serena Inn, encouraging you to sink back into the cushions and enjoy the romance of Africa while watching sun sets down with its beautiful orange colors and thousands of birds head to the small Islands searching for a night sleep.
