Once we have picked you up from your hotel, will start
our full-day guided game drive and discover the beauty of Nairobi National
Park. The World’s only national Wildlife park within a Capital city, a unique
ecosystem that combines wildlife and city life, with wide open grass plains and
a backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide
variety of wildlife, a home to over 100 mammal species and over 400 bird
species also enjoy the park’s picnic sites, campsites and the walking trails
for hikers.
Embark on an unforgettable photo safari, during the
tour see wildlife in their natural habitat, including lions, giraffes, and
rhinos while you take in stunning views of the park’s savannah, you’ll see
these animals up close and learn about their behaviors and habitats.
Will make a brief stop at one of the park's picnic
areas so you can have breakfast if you are feeling hungry (not included)
After the optional breakfast, we continue our tour by
visiting the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, open strictly between 11 am
and 12 noon for a one-hour window of opportunity to watch the gentle giant run
out of the forest in groups for their midday much-loved bottles of specialist
milk formula feed. (booking and confirmation is needed at the elephant
orphanage) Afterward, all the orphans gather for playtime. Some wallow in the
mud, while others challenge their friends to a wrestling match or indulge in a
dust bath. Prepare to be moved as One of the senior Keepers leads the public
visit, introducing you to each orphan, and sharing a bit about their unique
stories and personalities, from how they were rescued, and arrived at the
orphanage to how they received their names and nurtured by experienced team of
keepers while teaching you about wider conservation work across Kenya and
always set aside time for questions at the end watch the orphans enjoy their
bottles and gather for playtime from a variety of viewing platforms During this
time, you will have the incredible chance to mingle with the rescued baby and
teenage elephants which are later reintegrated into a protected wilderness when
they grow up. You'll also gain insights into the trust's plans for their future
release, adding an element of hope to this extraordinary experience.
The next stop is the Nairobi Giraffe Centre
established to protect the endangered giraffe, which is found only in the
grasslands of East Africa a place that plays an important role in the
conservation of local wildlife as it is also home to several warthogs that
freely roam the area along with the giraffes take lifetime photos as you come
eye-to-eye with the giraffes, watch them extend their long, black tongues to
lap up food while feeding the amazing tall creatures, Leave the crowd behind on
a calm nature trail listening to birdsong, and take in the plants that grow
along the small Gogo River try to spot the resident giraffes as they sway
through the forest.
We then head to the nearby Kazuri Beads a pottery center that makes one of the world's top quality handcrafted ceramic jewelry, pottery, paintings, and most beautiful beads representing the best of African art You will be shown all the stages from the start to the finish and is dedicated to supporting craftsmen from all over Kenya and empower women in need by employing them and teaching them a skill.
and then later is a visit to the beautiful farmhouse
Karen Blixen Museum. This gallery is named after the Danish author of 'Out of
Africa' and the exhibitions here reveal how her experiences in Kenya would be
reflected in this famous book, also it is full of history and historical
materials worth seeing Following that, we then go to the Artcaffe Galleria
commercial center so you can take lunch at the restaurant that you prefer (not
included).
