Nairobi: Amboseli one-day Tour

After picking you up from your hotel in Nairobi, we'll leave the city behind and head to the south of the country towards the border of Tanzania. We catch the African sunrise as we progress towards Amboseli where we’ll find one of the most spectacular natural savanna environments dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen grazing.

On arrival at the Amboseli, proceed for a game-viewing drive in search of a convoy of colossal elephants, one of the many African elephant herds that tend to roam around the park's savannah, also  Peer through your binoculars at over four hundred varieties of birds, from flamingoes to pelicans, as you enjoy the comfort of a customized tour van.

While the snowy peak of Mount Kilimanjaro remains in the background we shall marvel at the wildlife and outstanding surroundings found in this park. Although located in Tanzania, the unmistakable silhouette of this highest point of Africa dominates the skyline and can be seen from the national park we’ll take a ride up to Observation Hill. This vantage point will give us an overall view of the entire park. Check out the swamps below where the elephants gather daily and you can also walk about the hill as it’s one of the few places in the park you can explore on foot.

After lunch, we'll head to other areas of Amboseli to see giraffes, leopards, lions, Zebra, Cheetah, Warthog, Ostrich, and other wild animals that live in this ecosystem.

To end the day with a bang, we'll visit a Maasai village which is one of the most famous tribes, immerse in their authentic traditional way of life and wear their colorful garments, as well as participate in their pastoral lifestyle and jaw-dropping high jumps

On arrival, the village spokesperson will welcome you. You will be given a short introduction to the village and culture and then they will perform a welcome dance for you. you will then be taken to be shown how they light a fire and later you will be taken to see their houses “manyatta”. You will also be shown where they keep their cattle and how they protect them from predators.
