We’ll start early to give you plenty of viewing time at the parks as It’s a trip from your beach resort. Expect a fun-filled day tour of unique wildlife discoveries. Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is a privately owned reserve that offers visitors over 50 species of large mammals

At 5:30 A.M will pick you up at your Diani Beach/South Coast area resort and proceed over the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway with a short break on the way arriving at Taita Hills a nature reserve in the vicinity of Tsavo West National Park, one of Kenya's best-preserved animal sanctuaries.

After a three-and-a-half-hour drive through the countryside, we'll reach our destination and begin an unforgettable safari through the Taita Hills. You'll be struck by the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Pare, Mount Uluguru, and the Taita Mountains, as well as the wildlife that lives in these vast areas.

Another of the particularities of this safari is the terrain we'll travel through. Taita Hills is home to forests of the Eastern Arc, classified as a hotspot for biodiversity in Africa. The reserve works hard to conserve more than 28,000 acres of this endangered rainforest, raising awareness about the protection of the unique landscapes in Kenya.

Get your cameras ready as we explore, experience, and enjoy the beauty of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and the Taita Hills surrounding the park aboard an off-road, customized vehicle and above all with a professional multi-lingual safari guide that will ensure you have a memorable safari experience as during the tour, we'll have the privilege of greeting the Big Five of Africa, The rangers usually know where the bigger animals are in the reserve and will guide us accordingly. It’s not unusual to spot dozens of species during the game drives here. Lions and elephants are easy to spot on the rolling plains others include rhinos, buffaloes, and leopards. Our expert guides will share fun facts about these and other animals we see, such as giraffes, hawks, hippopotamuses, and ostriches.

At 2 pm we'll head over to one of the lodges at Taita Hills to refuel with a pre-arranged delicious lunch. After that, we'll leave the park and hit the road back to Diani.
